1. Account Information (Google Auth)

We use Google Authentication (Firebase) to manage user accounts. When you sign in, we collect basic profile information provided by Google, specifically:

• Email address
• Display Name
• Profile Picture
• User ID (UID)

Note: We do NOT store or have access to your Google password.

2. Data Scraped via the Extension

Xplosight operates as a local-execution tool.

• The data you extract (reviews, ratings, images) is fetched directly from your browser to the target website (TikTok).
• This data is processed locally on your device and exported to files (CSV/JSON) on your computer.
• We do not store your scraped data on our servers. We have no access to the specific content of the reviews you extract.

3. Payment Information

All payments are processed by our Merchant of Record, Creem. We do not collect, store, or process your credit card numbers or banking details. We only receive a confirmation status (e.g., "Plan: Plus") to unlock features in the extension.

4. Usage Data & Analytics

We collect anonymous technical data to improve stability and prevent abuse, including:

• Number of scrapes performed (to enforce plan quotas).
• Browser version and Extension version.
• Error logs (to debug technical issues).

II. HOW WE USE AND SHARE INFORMATION

How We Use Information

We use your Personal Information to:

• Authenticate your identity and grant access to the Service.
• Enforce subscription limits (e.g., Daily Scrape Quotas).
• Communicate with you regarding updates, security alerts, or support.
• Improve our Service reliability.

Sharing Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your Personal Information to third parties for marketing purposes. We share data only with trusted infrastructure providers required to operate the Service:

• Google Firebase: For authentication, database, and backend logic.
• Creem: For subscription management and billing.
• Google Analytics: For aggregate website traffic analysis.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:

• Encryption: All data transmitted between the extension and our servers is encrypted via HTTPS (TLS).
• Authentication: We use secure OAuth 2.0 tokens via Google Identity Services.

However, no security measure is foolproof, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.

IV. YOUR RIGHTS & DATA RETENTION

Retention: We retain your account information as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed from our live databases.

V. GENERATIVE AI DISCLAIMER

We do not use your personal data or your scraped data to train generative AI or machine learning models.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our Service and hold certain information.

• Essential Cookies: Used to maintain your user session (keep you logged in).
